Asoka College makes history by winning the Maroon Rugby Shield, the inaugural Rugby Encounter between Asoka Vidyalaya and President’s college Kotte Rajagiriya.
It was an absolute thriller and a great game of Rugby. Asoka College lead the lemons for 7 – 0 and came strongly in the second half to clinch the Maroon Shield.
Asoka Vidyalaya Old Boys’ Association would like to pronounce their sincere gratitude to all the Asokians who had participated and witness this event. Special thanks goes to Old Asokians Rugby Wing for their backing for the school rugby development.
